Pentax K-01 / Carl Zeiss Jena 2.8/50 Tessar lens
Three exposure done in-camera, then processed using Topaz Adjust and Aperture. I’m slowly getting used to this camera’s multiple exposure feature and I’m really excited about its potential for my fine art photography. I mean, this is no masterpiece, but I’m getting better.
Camera p0rn: Pentax K-01 digital with a mid 1980’s-vintage M42 Carl Zeiss Jena 2.8/50 Tessar lens mounted via adapter. I think the 80’s-era lens looks very handsome on the black K-01.

Just to be silly …
Paul has given us a gift. Will Western Civilization do the right thing, and accept?
So last weekend some friends and I watched the movie Cocktail. As the “story” unfolded, I realized I’d really only ever seen the first twenty minutes of this awful thing. It’s an impossible movie that can’t really exist. Yet, I cannot deny the evidence of my senses.
Among the many absurd, poorly thought-out moments that accidentally got recorded on film forever, there is this moment where Tom Cruise dances enticingly at Bryan Brown whilst holding a poster of a lady’s torso in front of himself. We were aghast. My friend Sarah marveled that this was not already a meme that everyone knew and referenced all the time.
I tried a few times to post a GIF of this moment but could not make it work. The file was too big! In the end, I needed Jake Fogelnest to help me. Why did I ever think I could upload an 80s-themed GIF without going through him?
My point is, this is an insane thing that should have been a GIF for years now.
Sarah, your dream came true.
Good night, everyone.
